Job summary

Lyreco is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Import Assistant to support import operations, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant processes, especially for goods from the Far East. This fixed-term role runs until year-end with a possible extension for a few additional months, and offers flexible weekly hours from 20 to 40.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach
• Good problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders
• Current or completed studies in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Previous professional experience in logistics or import operations would be an advantage but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Processing import documentation, including purchase orders, commercial invoices, packing lists and bills of lading
• Tracking international shipments and providing regular status updates to the relevant stakeholders
• Checking the accuracy and completeness of import documents
• Identifying discrepancies and supporting their timely resolution
• Maintaining accurate Excel files and records covering import transactions and documentation
• Supporting inventory management by providing timely and reliable information about incoming shipments
• Collaborating with the Import Planner, Import Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure efficient import operations
