Job summary

Semco Maritime in Gdynia is seeking a structured student to join the Supply Chain team as a Student Assistant. You will assist in procurement contract and category management activities, gaining hands-on experience in contract administration, NDAs and supplier management.

The role offers 15-20 hours per week, planned around your studies, with no travel expected. Fluency in English and Polish is beneficial for working with international teams.

Qualifications

• Ongoing studies in supply chain/procurement, business administration or a similar relevant field.
• Two years remaining in studies.
• Comfortable taking responsibility for tasks and collaborating across teams.
• Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• High level of English & Polish, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing activities: market research, supplier longlists, and documentation.
• Assist RFQ processes: collect information from suppliers and basic offer comparisons.
• Update supplier databases and track open topics.
• Prepare basic analyses on suppliers, markets and spending.
• Assist in presentations, sourcing plans, and meetings with suppliers.
