Job summary

Vesuvius Poland is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist in Kraków to oversee inventory levels, analyze demand, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely raw material deliveries while optimizing stock and reducing costs. You will work with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, JDE) and maintain master data, monitor replenishment, and communicate with Customer Service to align orders and deliveries.

English is essential; knowledge of German/Spanish/Turkish is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience with MRPs, order replenishment, order processing, logistics.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or purchasing.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory to avoid shortages or excess stock.
Supplier Coordination: Trigger purchase orders and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Logistics: Manage the collection of goods from suppliers and coordinates execution of deliveries to customers.
Forecast Analysis: Review demand forecasts and adjust order quantities to meet changing demand.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in the supply chain.
System Maintenance: Ensure accuracy of inventory data in the ERP/MRP system. Maintain master data.
Communication: Exchange and communicate order status and delivery times with Customer Service.
