Job summary

Etteplan is seeking a Principal Consultant, Embedded Systems & Edge AI to join our newly established Advisory team within Software and Embedded Solutions. You lead early-phase engagements, framing problems, assessing feasibility, and defining the path forward for edge AI in industrial products and systems.

You translate complex challenges into embedded product roadmaps, guide senior stakeholders, and mentor engineers while expanding Etteplan’s capabilities across Business Units.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in embedded systems and edge AI within industrial contexts.
• Proven ability to lead engagements with senior stakeholders and translate complexity into actionable roadmaps.
• Strong advisory capabilities bridging strategy and execution.
• Clear, structured communication across executive, architectural, and engineering levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead early-phase client engagements in embedded systems and edge AI for industrial environments.
• Advise on edge AI adoption, robust architectures, scalability, safety and value realization in production systems.
• Translate challenges into embedded product statements, architectures, and roadmaps.
• Support sales/pre-sales with credibility and technical leadership in strategic discussions.
• Contribute to developing Etteplan’s Embedded Systems & Edge AI offerings and Best Practices.
• Mentor lead engineers and architects across Business Units to scale capabilities.
• Promote an AI-first mindset in software and embedded development for industrial contexts.
