METRO Global Solution Center PL in Szczecin is seeking an experienced Controlling Manager to lead end-to-end Controlling within the GBS organization. The role partners with leadership, owning budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to drive performance and transformation.

You will manage a small team of controlling experts, design and enhance management reporting, and ensure data-driven decision support across functions while enabling change and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Controlling or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years in Controlling/FP&A/management reporting in international settings.
• Experience in SSC/GBS/BPO environments and strong cost control skills.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modelling experience.
• Ability to develop KPIs, dashboards and management reporting.
• Experience in business case development and financial analysis for decisions.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; Power BI experience required.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own annual budgeting, forecasting and multi-year planning for the GBS organization.
• Analyze performance and cost drivers; recommend optimization actions.
• Prepare financial models and business cases for transformations.
• Design and improve the reporting framework with KPIs and dashboards.
• Ensure transparent performance information across functions.
• Provide commentary and recommendations on gaps, risks and improvements.
• Partner with leaders to plan workforce capacity and charging; monitor FTE utilization.
• Support migrations and transformation resource planning.
• Collaborate with Finance Transformation to define KPIs and progress dashboards.
• Act as trusted financial partner to the GBS Director and leaders.
• Present scenarios to leadership and follow up on actions.
• Drive standardization, automation and self-service reporting; lead a small team.
