Job summary

Hager Group in Poland is seeking a Controlling Business Partner for Southern Eastern Western Europe to support its Transformation Journey. You will steer financial planning, provide data-driven insights, and collaborate with local and international teams to strengthen value contribution and business impact.

The role requires a Bachelor or Master’s degree, 7–10 years in international Controlling, advanced Excel, SAP and BW, and fluent English (French/German a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree or equivalent academic qualification.
• At least 7 to 10 years of experience in different areas of Controlling on an international scale with a strong proximity to the business.
• Strategic mindset, problem solving and analytical skills are key to succeed in this position.
• Customer orientation, ability to work in a transversal mode and strong communication skills are essential.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP and BW and fluency in English; French or German are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the market area business for the region - International Sales: Partner with key decision-makers, provide guidance on financial implications of strategic and operational decisions, deliver insights and data to support performance.
• Financial planning and forecasting within the Integrated Financial Planning framework: contribute to targets, cascade budgets, raise awareness on risk vs. targets, contribute to high-level forecasting.
• Collaborate with local Controlling teams and operational managers to translate operative plans into business plans according to group standards.
• Manage budget and forecasts processes, analyze variances, recommend actions to Top Management and deploy plans.
• Lead and develop the regional team, foster collaboration with local finance, support operations through training and reliable data for decision-making.
• Ensure application of group standards.
