Job summary

Avon is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth of our Contract Manufacturing business. You will identify and win co-manufacturing clients, guide onboarding, and drive ramp‑up of production programs.

You will coordinate with Marketing, R&D, Sourcing, Planning, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Finance to deliver sustainable revenue and volume growth while building lasting client relationships in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within manufacturing, cosmetics, or consumer goods.
• Experience leading onboarding projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills.
• Commercially minded with ability to identify growth opportunities and drive revenue.
• Fluent English

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and engage potential co-manufacturing clients aligned with Avon’s Contract Manufacturing strategy.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities to drive growth.
• Convert prospects into signed contracts and achieve client revenue and production targets.
• Manage end-to-end onboarding from contract signature to stable production.
• Coordinate onboarding across Marketing, R&D, Sourcing, Planning, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Finance.
• Drive production ramp-up and help clients reach volume milestones.
• Identify opportunities to expand portfolios within existing partnerships.
• Act as primary client contact during onboarding and early production.
• Build trusted client relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Support negotiation and execution of commercial agreements with the Business Development Lead.
• Ensure commercial commitments translate into viable implementation plans.
• Monitor KPIs: acquisition, revenue growth, volumes, margins, retention.
• Provide insights on pipeline performance, forecasting, and capacity needs.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market opportunities.
