Job summary

Avon is seeking a Package Engineer to lead the development and commercialization of packaging solutions across the region. You will work with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and external suppliers to launch products on time and within budget while upholding quality standards.

You will drive packaging development, support sustainability goals, and champion best practices in quality and manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Around 5 years of experience in FMCG, Supply Chain, Packaging, R&D, or related areas.
• Experience in product and packaging development.
• Strong project management skills with matrix teams and external partners.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient English skills.
• Experience in a global or international business environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop packaging specifications that meet design, quality, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
• Lead packaging activities for new product development and commercialization projects.
• Collaborate with regional and local stakeholders across R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and external suppliers.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve packaging development challenges.
• Support packaging sustainability initiatives and corporate responsibility goals.
• Drive value engineering projects to improve efficiency and savings.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and manufacturing standards.
