Job summary

UST is seeking a Semiconductor Product Validation Technician to lead end-to-end validation of Client storage products, including drivers, firmware, BIOS, and platform integration.

You will execute a broad range of tests (functional, regression, performance, stress) and support automated validation within CI/CD pipelines, ensuring release readiness and quality. Collaboration with engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Experience validating storage drivers, firmware, installers, and platform integration.
• Knowledge of HLK tools and Microsoft certification processes is a plus.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end validation of storage products (drivers, BIOS, firmware, installers, UI) and platform integration.
• Conduct functional, interoperability, compatibility, performance, power management, stress, endurance, regression, and reliability tests.
• Configure validation environments using SATA, NVMe, RAID, USB, AHCI and file systems (NTFS, FAT32, EXT4).
• Execute automated validation tests and monitor CI/CD pipelines for quality.
• Perform HLK certification testing and ensure compliance with Microsoft criteria.
• Analyze failures, collect logs, replicate issues, verify fixes, and perform regression testing.
• Support BIOS, IFWI, firmware, and hardware validation across development cycles.
• Assist automation efforts and contribute to process improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers, review test execution quality, and adhere to validation methodologies.
• Prepare validation reports and project status updates for stakeholders.
