Job summary

UST is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer / Technical Lead to design and build enterprise‑grade software that supports validation infrastructure. You will work across backend development, automation, CI/CD, Linux platforms, containerization, databases, APIs, and engineering tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade backend software and applications.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks supporting validation infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD workflows and engineering automation.
• Develop solutions for OS image management and supporting engineering utilities.
• Define software architecture and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and drive software quality and engineering best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
• Develop databases and APIs supporting engineering applications and workflows.
• Build and improve automated workflows across the validation environment.
• Develop solutions integrated with Linux-based platforms.
• Implement and maintain Docker-based containerized solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated testing solutions.
• Support Artifactory integration and software artifact management.
• Manage and improve software release processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers.
