Job summary

Amentum in Poland is seeking a Logistics Specialist responsible for executing multiple logistics functions, including receiving, inventorying, storing and issuing materials in line with US Army policies and local regulations. You will operate government-provided light vehicles and keep accurate stock records using GCSS-A and STAMIS systems.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4 years’ related experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a CAC.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain CAC if needed.

Responsibilities

Purpose

Executes multiple logistics functions, may include transportation, service, property, supply, inventory, and warehousing operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives, inventories, configures, stores and issues in accordance with U.S. Army Supply Policies and Procedures as well as local policies and regulations IAW the PWS.
• Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming/outgoing material to verify receipt/issue of items against receipt/shipping documents.
• Possess knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Maintains inventory and other stock records, using computer terminal.
• May be required to operate a variety of STAMIS programs, and GCSS-A.
• Inputs data and generates daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by department.
• Moves or transports materials or supplies to other departments, using hand forklift or industrial truck.
• Ensures strict compliance to safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
• Adheres to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System.
• Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 4 years' related experience.
• Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must be able to qualify and operate Government provided light vehicles.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior Military MOS 92A, preferred. International driver's license prior to deployment preferred.
• Certification, License & Clearance: GCCS-A Certified in Supply required. Valid US Driver's license required. US Citizenship required. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a CAC, if required.
• Facility cred e ntials/authori z ation requi r e d : Must be able to obtain and maintain facility and credential /authorization: Note- US Citizenship is required for facility credential/authorization at this work location.

• Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
• Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
• When performing work, responsible for adhering to environmental, safety, and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
