Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Logistics Specialist to execute multiple functions across inventory, transport, and warehousing in support of Army operations. The role emphasizes compliance with safety, ISO, and quality standards and requires the ability to operate government-provided light vehicles.

The position is part of a talent pipeline for anticipate opportunities; candidates meeting the qualifications may be considered for future openings. Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain CAC if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years’ related experience.
• Ability to qualify and operate Government provided light vehicles.
• GCCS-A Certification required.
• Valid US Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inventories, configures, stores and issues in accordance with U.S. Army Supply Policies and Procedures as well as local policies and regulations IAW the PWS.
• Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming/outgoing material to verify receipt/issue of items against receipt/shipping documents.
• Possess knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Maintains inventory and other stock records, using computer terminal.
• May be required to operate a variety of STAMIS programs, and GCSS-A.
• Inputs data and generates daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by department.
• Moves or transports materials or supplies to other departments, using hand forklift or industrial truck.
• Ensures strict compliance to safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
• Adheres to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System.
• Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
