Job summary

Amentum is seeking a logistics planning professional to support maintenance and logistics reporting. The role involves coordinating briefings, preparing data-driven reports in PowerPoint and Excel, and leading projects that align with program objectives.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years planning experience, strong presentation skills, and a proven ability to develop and present maintenance/supply reports across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, conducts, leads, and participates in briefings, problem solving meetings, and Brigade level discussions.
• Produces maintenance reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed, following prescribed formats.
• Maintains files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed Power Point slants and Excel spreadsheets.
• Performs maintenance scheduling to include production schedules for scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance.
• Prepares, develops and coordinating reports for the Operations Manager or assigned Logistics Management Analyst to meet all program objectives.
• Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across site groups including finance, material, and quality.
• Utilizes reports, charts and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify variances.
• Adheres to safety practices and support the Safety Policies.
• Instills a safety-first mentality within work areas.
• Performs all other position related duties as assigned.

Job description

Purpose:

Provides logistical support and research on all maintenance related issues. Administrator for Signal operational reporting groups.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans, coordinates, conducts, leads, and participates in briefings, problem solving meetings, and Brigade level discussions.
• Produces maintenance reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed, following prescribed formats.
• Maintains files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed Power Point slants and Excel spreadsheets.
• Performs maintenance scheduling to include production schedules for scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance.
• Prepares, develops and coordinating reports for the Operations Manager or assigned Logistics Management Analyst to meet all program objectives.
• Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across site functional groups including finance, material, and quality.
• Utilizes reports, charts and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.

• Ensures strict compliance to safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
• Adheres to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System.
• Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• 6 yrs. planning experience to include briefing senior leadership required.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Must have high-level experience using Microsoft suite; Power Point and Excel to illustrate/develop Maintenance / Supply reports.
• Must be comfortable with public speaking and giving presentations to small and large groups.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous planning experience in Supply, Maintenance, or Logistics, preferred
• International driver’s license prior to deployment preferred.

Certification, License & Clearance:

• Valid US Driver’s license required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a CAC, if required.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

• Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
• Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
• When performing work, responsible for adhering to environmental, safety, and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
