Job summary

RTB House is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to improve security across systems, infrastructure, and software development practices. You will work across multiple engineering teams, define security standards, and influence architectural decisions to build secure systems by default.

This is a senior IC role reporting to the VP of Engineering. You will bridge Security Operations and Engineering, translating incident insights into concrete architectural improvements and reusable controls, tools,

Qualifications

8+ years of professional experience in security engineering or closely related roles.
Experience with large-scale distributed systems and high throughput environments.
Strong Polish and English language skills (B2/C1).

Responsibilities

Identify systemic security risks across applications, on-prem and cloud environments.
Perform security architecture reviews for existing and new systems.
Work with engineering teams to address security weaknesses early in SDLC.
Collaborate with SOC to improve detection capabilities and incident analysis.
Design and implement security controls, automation, and services across teams.
Define and evolve technical security standards and reference architectures.
Review complex designs and provide actionable security recommendations.
