As Staff Platform Engineer, you will own the technical direction of the platform, define architecture and standards, and enable engineering teams to move faster and more safely at scale.

You'll shape AI-native patterns, champion self‑service infrastructure, and drive security, reliability, and operational excellence across the organisation, mentoring engineers and aligning technical

• Defined architecture, standards, and patterns for the platform across multi‑quarter horizon.
• Led high‑stakes technical decisions with buy‑in from senior engineers and stakeholders.
• Created patterns that embed AI and automation into platform at scale.
• Shaped security, reliability, and cost‑efficient operations.
• Developed the capability of senior engineers through challenge and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Establish a 12–18 month technical direction for the platform with clear milestones.
• Drive broad adoption by designing well‑documented platform capabilities that reduce friction.
• Define architectural patterns enabling autonomous, AI‑augmented workflows.
• Embed platform standards for security and reliability across teams.
• Represent the platform strategy to senior leadership and translate engineering constraints to business terms.
