Job summary

InPost seeks a Staff Software Engineer for mobile and backend domains to raise the quality bar across the platform. The role emphasizes architectural decisions, end-to-end ownership, and hands-on leadership to shape the overall software quality and reliability strategy.

You will set quality gates, mentor engineers, and drive cross-team improvements while shaping how AI is adopted to improve engineering productivity. Prior experience at scale with mobile apps is a major plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience and leadership at Staff/Principal level.
• Deep ownership of quality and reliability as an engineering discipline.
• Proven shift-left experience in engineering workflows.
• Hands-on ability to read, review and write production-grade code.

Responsibilities

• Define and own quality and reliability strategy across the mobile/backend domain.
• Mentor engineers and drive knowledge sharing across the org.
• Lead technical direction and governance for AI usage in engineering workflows.
• Design and enforce testing/quality standards and gates.
