Job summary

InPost is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for mobile and backend domains to raise the quality bar across the platform. You will shape architecture for testability and reliability, own quality gates, and foster a culture where engineers own quality as a business outcome.

You’ll lead across multiple teams, mentor engineers, and drive automation, AI adoption, and governance while maintaining hands-on coding and architectural influence at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with impact beyond a single team.
• Deep ownership of quality and reliability as an engineering discipline.
• Proven shift-left experience, entering the process before code is written.
• Strong hands-on engineering foundation with production‑quality code.
• Experience leading technical and process change directly with development teams.
• Hands-on, critical relationship with AI in engineering and testing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define quality and reliability strategy across the domain, from API to native mobile clients (iOS/SwiftUI, Android/Kotlin).
• Drive cross-team quality improvements and resolve domain-wide issues.
• Mentor senior engineers and accelerate growth; run knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Shape the domain's technical direction and establish quality gates with metrics.
