Job summary

InPost is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to raise the quality bar across mobile app and backend domains. You will shape architecture, own quality gates, and drive reliability across multiple teams. This hands-on leader will mentor engineers, reduce risk, and define AI governance in engineering.

Strong cross-team impact and English fluency are required. This role offers flexible remote options in Poland and a B2B contract, with a focus on scalable, testable systems and clear quality metrics

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience with multi-team impact.
Ownership of quality and reliability as a discipline.
Shift-left experience before coding starts and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Set and own quality strategy from API to native mobile clients.
Mentor engineers and drive knowledge sharing across teams.
Define governance for AI usage in engineering.
Lead domain-wide quality metrics and release gates.
Hands-on code contribution where it matters.
