Job summary

BlackLine in Kraków is seeking a founding Staff Data Engineer to own the analytics and data platform for our AI-powered SaaS product. You will design data flows into Snowflake, model data for reliability, and surface insights via Power BI.

You will mentor engineers, set data quality standards, and collaborate with product, finance and software teams to deliver trusted data products at scale.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise with Snowflake data architecture and modeling.
• Advanced Power BI proficiency with semantic models and security.
• Strong SQL and at least one general-purpose language (Python).

Responsibilities

• Architect and own the end-to-end data platform on Snowflake.
• Build, govern, and monitor robust ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Deliver enterprise-grade Power BI reports and dashboards.
