Job summary

BlackLine is building a founding Manager, Software Engineering for a new BI & Analytics Engineering team in Krakow. You will hire and mentor engineers across data, BI, and AI disciplines, shaping the team's culture and delivery.

You will stand up modern data pipelines with Fabric mirroring to a Snowflake model, build semantic layers, and create Power BI dashboards for customers. You will champion AI-powered development and collaborate with product leadership to deliver high-impact analytics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in a SaaS environment.
• Strong foundation in data engineering and analytics with cloud platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake, Fabric, Power BI, and data modelling concepts.
• Experience collaborating with product and design across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and grow a multi-disciplinary BI/Analytics team in Krakow.
• Deliver Snowflake analytics platform and customer-facing dashboards.
• Lead agentic AI experiences for risk, credit, cash, and D&D workflows.
• Drive delivery, unblock blockers, and ensure high-quality software/data products.
• Shape engineering standards, CI/CD, data quality, and security.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders to align priorities.
• Contribute to quarterly/annual technical roadmaps and capacity planning.
