Job summary

BlackLine Kraków seeks a Senior Data Engineer to build the data platform behind our AI-powered I2C solution. You will design pipelines from operational systems into Snowflake, model data for reliability, and surface trusted insights through Power BI for internal and customer analytics.

You will partner with staff engineers, managers, and product partners, delivering scalable, cost-efficient data infrastructure and using AI tools to accelerate delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Snowflake data modelling and governance.
• Strong Power BI report design and semantic modelling.
• Proven experience building ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Expert-level SQL with Python for data processing.
• Familiarity with AI-driven development tools (Cursor/Claude).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Develop enterprise-grade Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Shape end-to-end data architecture on Snowflake.
• Promote modern data modelling and unit-tested data models.
• Apply AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery.
• Embed data quality, observability, monitoring, and testing.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and finance.
• Grow toward broader technical leadership over time.
