Hornet is seeking a Staff Accountant – AP/AR/GL to own day-to-day accounting across our global operations. You will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger in Xero, collaborating with teams worldwide to ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of full-cycle accounting experience (AP, AR, and GL), ideally in a subscription-based or app-based business.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean environment and take ownership of workstreams.
• Desire to shape processes and controls, not just execute existing ones.

Responsibilities

• AR and Revenue Accounting: record app store revenue, PSP revenue deferrals, invoice timely collections, manage KYC with PSPs.
• AP and Spend Management: process vendor invoices, run payments, maintain vendor records, report spend monthly.
• GL, Month-End Close and Reporting: own journal entries and reconciliations, prepare budget-to-actual analysis, assist audits and tax filings.
