Job summary

SHEIN is seeking a Senior Project Management Manager to oversee full lifecycle automation projects in warehouses across Europe. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with HQ R&D, suppliers, and regional operations to ensure on-site execution and timely go-live.

Strong background in industrial engineering / logistics, 8+ years leading smart warehouse automation, and proficiency in system architecture for WMS/WCS/PLC are required. PMP/Lean Six Sigma certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Mechanical Automation, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
• 8+ years of experience leading smart warehouse automation projects end-to-end.
• Demonstrated capability in system architecture design for multi-equipment coordination scenarios.
• Lead end-to-end solution design and gap analysis for the WMSWCSPLC three-tier system architecture.
• Hold PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt or equivalent certifications; experience at major automation integrators/vendors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Full project lifecycle management from planning to delivery, including vendor discussions, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
• Design human-machine interaction SOPs and system requirements, BRD/PRD for multi-layer systems.
• Coordinate with HQ R&D, procurement, and regional teams to align schedules and equipment procurement.
• Oversee on-site construction, integration testing, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
• Track performance during ramp-up and document methodologies for rollout across Europe.

Core Responsibilities

1. Full Project Lifecycle Management

• Project Planning & Schedule Control
• Establish project WBS, manage critical paths, and ensure all projects break ground by end of 2026 and deliver by mid-2027
• Lead solution discussions, technical reviews, competitive bidding, and contract negotiations with automation equipment vendors (Hai Robotics, Geek+, Blue Sword, etc.)
• Manage vendor delivery timelines, equipment scheduling, and quality standards to mitigate supply chain delay risks
• Risk Management & Escalation
• Establish P1-P4 risk-level early warning mechanism with clearly defined owners at each phase
• Proactively identify key risks in schedule, budget, and technical interfaces; escalate and propose mitigation plans when deviations hit red-line thresholds

2. Business Process & System Design

• Business Process Mapping
• Design human-machine interaction SOP, clearly defining "which role, at which step, performs which action" to ensure no operational backlog during equipment exceptions
• System Requirements Management
• Produce structured BRD/PRD, defining WMSWCSPLC/RCS multi-layer system interaction logic and interface specifications
• Collaborate remotely with HQ R&D teams to complete system Gap analysis and effort estimation, ensuring system features go live before UAT
• Define equipment integration mode (black-box/gray-box/white-box), selecting the optimal approach based on the European network environment and maintenance capabilities

3. Cross-functional Collaboration & On-site Delivery

• Multi-party Resource Alignment
• Vertical: Align with HQ R&D platform (WMS/WCS teams) and procurement to synchronize system development schedules and equipment procurement timelines
• Horizontal: Coordinate regional network planning, infrastructure engineering, network IT, and on-site operations to ensure MEP renovations, network deployment (including AGV high-precision positioning network) are synchronized with equipment installation
• On-site Construction & Integration Testing
• Oversee on-site construction progress (facility renovation, fire protection, MEP works) and coordinate equipment installation
• Lead WCS initialization, hardware-software interface integration, full-scenario UAT testing to validate data loop closure and equipment convergence
• Develop go-live cutover plans and manual fallback contingencies to ensure zero impact on fulfillment operations
• Delivery Acceptance & Performance Tracking
• Lead capacity monitoring during the ramp-up phase, tracking key metrics including fulfillment lead time, labor productivity improvement, and cost savings post-automation
• Document project methodologies and standard templates to enable replication and rollout of automation across other European warehouses

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Mechanical Automation, Supply Chain Management, or related fields

Experience

8+ years, with proven track record of leading smart warehouse automation projects end-to-end

Technical Depth

Demonstrated capability in system architecture design for multi-equipment coordination scenarios

System Competency

Able to lead end-to-end solution design and gap analysis for the WMSWCSPLC three-tier system architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Hold PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt or equivalent certifications
• Work experience at Honeywell, Daifuku, Dematic, Hai Robotics, Geek+ or other major automation integrators/vendors
