Job summary

Eaton in Gdańsk, Poland, is seeking a Specification Sales Engineer for Emergency Lighting and Life Safety. You will influence project specifications early in Commercial & Institutional Building projects and build a network of engineering offices, consultants and end users.

You will manage territories, qualify leads, draft initial concepts, and coordinate with internal teams to convert opportunities into deployable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in specification sales or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage specifying entities early in projects.
• Manage territory to optimize engagement with engineering offices, consultants and end users.
• Qualify leads for specification engagement and track opportunities in CRM.
• Draft initial concepts tailored to project specs and coordinate with internal teams.
• Transfer concepts to backend teams for execution and follow-up.
• Conduct business reviews to evaluate pipeline health and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Project Sales Engineers and back office to ensure continuity.
• Participate in industry events to build visibility and relationships.
