Job summary

Euroclear is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect for CREST New Technology to drive migration from legacy COBOL/HP NonStop systems to a modern, OpenShift-based Java platform. You will work with Kafka-based event hubs and ensure platform independence across OpenShift Linux environments.

The role demands strong architecture skills, end-to-end solution delivery, and collaboration with security, EA teams, and management. Hybrid working and international exposure are offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable solutions architecture skills spanning inception to post-implementation.
• Strong systems development experience across all SDLC stages.
• Experience with Event Hub tech and modern architectures.
• Knowledge of Oracle/SQL Server databases and Java.

Responsibilities

• Define options and provide migration recommendations from legacy to new event-driven architecture in collaboration with EA and CREST architects.
• Deliver a coherent end-to-end IT solution meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure standards are met and designs are compliant.
• Prototype and lead proofs-of-concept for key components of the new architecture.
• Present proposed solution architecture and plans to Euroclear management and stakeholders.
