About the role
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will be part of the GEHC Financial Services (HFS) team and will support the HFS Transformation initiative, which includes a major product upgrade, platform modernization and AI.
This role is a stepping stone for an individual passionate about learning new technologies, exploring AI platforms, and building digital enterprise solutions that impact the finance & treasury domains.
In this role, you will be:
- Requirement analysis and user‑story documentation, performing technical proof of concept and development using technologies such as Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, .NET, MS SQL, Angular, Node.js, and other front‑end frameworks.
- Supporting release planning and test planning for product and platform upgrades.
- Collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, and other stakeholders to implement solutions.
- Participating in software lifecycle activities including requirement analysis, development, testing, and documentation.
- Preparing technical documentation.
- Participating in all Scrum ceremonies with business and technical teams for a rounded perspective on the solution and creating impact for customers.
Basic Requirements
- Active student of IT‑related studies (Bachelor or Master), preferably in a STEM field.
- Fluency in English.

Technical Expertise
- Basic experience in designing and building web‑based applications using technologies such as the MS Power platform, AI technologies, full‑stack web technologies, and relational databases like SQL Server.
- Keen interest in learning current and emerging technologies.
- Understanding and interest in UX concepts, developing wireframes for user interface design to suit business requirements.
Soft Skills & Attitude
- Very good communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate with technical audiences.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate and solve problems, actively incorporating input from various sources.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Self‑motivated with a “can do” attitude.
- Self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced work environment.
Pay Range
For Poland‑based positions, Annual Salary Range: To be provided prior to the interview or at the offer discussion stage.
Placement within the range depends on relevant skills and qualifications, prior job‑related experience, and internal equity considerations (alignment with colleagues in similar roles).
