Job summary

MSD Malaysia is seeking a Finance, FP&A & Digital Innovation Intern to support the Poland Finance team in budgeting, reporting, accounting, and process improvements.

You will work with modern tools, data analytics, automation, AI solutions, and Power BI dashboards to enhance financial processes and drive digital transformation within a multinational organization.

Qualifications

• Student status or recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Interest in digital tools, data analytics, automation, and AI solutions.
• Very good command of English and fluent Polish.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis activities.
• Assist in preparing standard and ad hoc financial reports, presentations, and management summaries.
• Support monthly closing activities, accounting documentation, reconciliations, and data accuracy checks.
• Execution, monitoring, and documentation of key accounting and financial controls.
• Monitor Accounts Payable open items, identify aging or delayed transactions, and collaborate with local stakeholders and BSC teams to resolve issues.
• Help collect, consolidate, and validate financial data from different systems and stakeholders.
• Support the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
• Use digital and AI-enabled tools to identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and efficiency improvement.
• Participate in Finance transformation and continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Finance Business Partners, and other stakeholders across the organization.

As a Finance, FP&A & Digital Innovation Intern, you will support the Poland Finance team in key financial planning, reporting, accounting, and process improvement activities. This internship is a great opportunity to learn how Finance operates in a multinational organization, support budgeting and forecasting processes, assist with financial reporting and accounting tasks, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives. A strong focus of this role will be on improving Finance processes and tools through data analytics, automation, AI-enabled solutions, and Power BI dashboard creation and maintenance.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Finance team in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis activities.

• Student status or recent graduate status in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of financial, accounting, and business concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Interest in digital tools, data analytics, automation, and AI solutions.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work with different stakeholders.
• Ability to manage tasks independently, meet deadlines, and learn quickly.
• Very good command of English and fluent Polish.
