Job summary

S&P Global in Gdansk, Poland is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our Agile team. You will collaborate with team leads and peers to deliver scalable software using .NET Core, React, and cloud services, with a focus on quality and customer value.

You will contribute to front-end and back-end development, participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and migration of legacy systems to AWS, while working closely with data analysts, product owners, and other developers. Fluent English required.

The Team:

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, exceptional Software Engineer to join our Agile team. Collaborating closely with the team lead and other team members to drive technical deliveries. We are a people-first culture and pride ourselves on our agility, flexibility, and diversity.

Responsibilities and Impact:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a small close-knit Agile team, ensuring we meet our customer requirements and deliver impactful quality software. Using your technical skills, you will contribute to code reviews, design and implement complex solutions, and support the business strategy.

• Work in a team environment using Agile practices.
• Develop and implement reliable, scalable technical software with AWS cloud services.
• Work with peers to conduct proof of concepts, drive technology and product selection, support pilot implementation.
• Work closely with data analysts, product owners, and other lead developers to address business needs.
• Constantly learn from and educate others to improve yourself and the project.
• Develop front-end and backend components of the Web Application using front-end frameworks like React.
• Utilize Continuous Integration and Delivery development.
• Collaborate closely with other developers, testers, front-end designers, and product owners.
• Assist in the migration from legacy systems to AWS (Amazon Web Services).

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of strong experience in .NET Core, front-end frameworks like React, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Database experience in both SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience in delivering scalable, automated work in the cloud (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Ability to develop web apps that run on a cloud infrastructure like AWS.
• Experience in maintaining high-quality code – utilizing techniques like unit testing, code reviews, etc.
• Ability to solve complex problems and learn from mistakes.
• ExperienceonGenAI or LLM models(e.g.Open AI,AnthropicClaude).
• Good knowledge of English.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AWS services (S3,ECS,Fargate, Lambda, etc.)
• Interest in Data Science / Machine Learning.
• Experience with Databricks
• Experience in driving development and deployment of relevant testing tools and infrastructure.
