Job summary

Google Warsaw seeks a Software Engineer to drive progress in AI platform development and ML infrastructure. You will collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product managers across Cloud AI and Google Research to deliver scalable ML solutions that integrate with next-generation large language models.

Based in Poland, you will contribute to enterprise AI safety, data residency, and system integration with existing tools while advancing Google's product excellence and overall cloud AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).

• Design and implement the AI Developer Tools Platform and related services under the Gemini Enterprise umbrella, collaborating with teams across Cloud AI and beyond.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while applying AI techniques to increase productivity.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product managers from Google Cloud AI and Google Research to develop ML solutions that balance performance and deployment constraints.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in developing and deploying applications on cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience building applications for enterprise needs, which includes AI safety, data residency, integration with existing systems.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, large language models (LLMs), or AI agents.
• Understand the unique needs of Cloud customers and effectively bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and real-world use cases outside of Google.
• Track record of innovative ideas and rapid execution in the AI/ML space.

You will develop features that integrate the next generation large language model with balanced trade-off between performance and deployment constraints.

The Google Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud’s mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Poland: zł280000 - zł287000 (PLN) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
