Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Software Engineer 2 for a remote role based in Poland, with an optional office base in Lublin. You will join an engineering team building secure software for the Pharmaceutical TMF domain, using modern tools including AI-assisted development and GitHub Copilot.

You’ll work independently on new functionality, follow SOLID principles, contribute to tests, and collaborate across QA and DevOps to maintain high quality. Experience in .NET/C#, REST, and databases is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft .NET / C#.
• Experience with unit testing, dependency injection, and REST web services.
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL or MySQL.
• Exposure to web UI development such as React, Angular or jQuery.
• Confidence using AI-assisted coding tools with a critical eye on output quality and security.

Responsibilities

• Fixing moderately complex bugs in familiar code and tackling basic issues in unfamiliar code.
• Building new functionality independently with architectural guidance where needed.
• Developing with .NET and C#, applying SOLID principles, design patterns and DI.
• Writing reliable unit tests and contributing to strong engineering quality standards.
• Using AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency with quality and security focus.
• Collaborating with testers/DevOps, aiding sprint planning, and solving root-cause issues.
• Mentoring junior developers and upholding high coding standards.
