Job summary

Our team at Cencora is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to join our growing engineering team in Poland, with a remote setup and an optional office base in Lublin. You will build secure, high-quality software for the Pharmaceutical TMF industry, contributing to solution design and using modern tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude.

You’ll work with .NET/C#, apply SOLID principles, write unit tests, and collaborate with testers and DevOps to deliver robust software, while mentoring junior developers

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft .NET / C#.
• Experience with unit testing, dependency injection, and REST web services.
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL or MySQL.
• Exposure to web UI development such as React, Angular or jQuery.
• Confidence using AI-assisted coding tools with a critical eye on output quality and security.

Responsibilities

• Fixing moderately complex bugs in familiar code and tackling basic issues in unfamiliar code.
• Building new functionality independently with architectural guidance where needed.
• Developing with .NET and C#, applying SOLID principles, design patterns and dependency injection.
• Writing reliable unit tests and contributing to strong engineering quality standards.
• Using AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency while critically reviewing code for quality, security and correctness.
• Collaborating with testers and DevOps, contributing to sprint planning, and helping solve support issues at the root cause.
• Mentoring more junior developers and supporting high coding standards across the team.
• Building your knowledge of the Pharmaceutical TMF domain and applying it in real solutions for clients.
