Job summary

Luxoft Poland seeks a software engineer to help build ACQA, a cloud-native analytics and risk platform. The role emphasizes Python, Java/Scala, and big data tooling, collaborating with traders and risk managers to deliver robust software in a fast-paced environment.

You will work in an agile team of engineers, focusing on scalable systems, testing, DevOps, and modern development practices, with exposure to Azure and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and Apache Spark.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud-native platforms, and Big Data technologies.
• Experience with Scala or investment banking tech, especially derivatives, risk, pricing, and PnL.
• Strong software engineering practices including testing, design patterns, and production-grade delivery.
• Experience designing scalable, reliable systems.
• Hands-on DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the ACQA Engines Crew within the IB Risk Technology Stream.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native analytics and risk platforms using Python/Scala/Java.
• Collaborate in agile pods with traders, risk managers and finance users.
• Embrace DevEx, testing frameworks, and production readiness.
