Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a software engineer to join the ACQA Engines Crew in the IB Risk Technology Stream. You will contribute to a cloud-native analytics platform with Python at its heart, while leveraging Java/Scala for broader data-intensive tasks.

We value deep engineering expertise, testing discipline, and the ability to collaborate with traders and risk managers across global teams. A strong inclination toward DevOps, CI/CD and AI-assisted development is a plus.

Qualifications

• Deep software engineering background with experience in Python/Java/Scala across multiple paradigms.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing at scale in Python with testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in JVM languages (Java/Scala) and big data ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Spark or equivalent big data processing frameworks.
• Understanding of financial derivatives risk and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the ACQA cloud-native analytics platform.
• Work within the ACQA Engines Crew and IB Risk Technology Stream.
• Collaborate with traders, risk managers and finance users.
• Build bullet-proof software in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Implement testing strategies and improve developer experience.
