Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a versatile software engineer to join the ACQA Engines Crew in Kraków. You will contribute to an analytics and risk cloud platform with Python at its core, while leveraging Java/Scala and Spark for data-intensive workloads.

Collaboration with traders, risk managers, and finance users is essential. You should bring robust software engineering experience, a deep understanding of design patterns, and comfort working in a fast-paced, agile team.

Qualifications

• Deep software engineering background across multiple paradigms.
• Proficient in Python/Java/Scala with testing discipline.
• Experience with Spark and big data on large datasets.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

Responsibilities

• Work in ACQA Engines Crew within the IB Risk Technology Stream.
• Collaborate with traders, risk managers, and finance users to deliver platforms.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, production-grade software.
