Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a software engineer to join the ACQA Engines Crew, working on a cloud-native analytics and risk platform (ACQA) with Python at its core, alongside Java/Scala and PySpark on big data sets. You will collaborate with traders, risk managers, and finance users in an agile environment.

The team emphasizes modern software engineering, testing, and DevEx, with exposure to cloud platforms (Azure) and AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and Apache Spark.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud-native platforms, and Big Data technologies.
• Experience with Scala or experience in investment banking technology, particularly with financial derivatives, derivative risk, pricing, Risk & PnL, and quantitative analytics.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing frameworks, design patterns, and production-grade software development.
• Experience designing and developing scalable, reliable, production-ready systems.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development.
• Strong focus on Developer Experience (DevEx) and modern software engineering practices.
• Practical experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted software development tools.
