Job summary

Luxoft in Wrocław seeks a software engineer to join ACQA, a cloud-native analytics and risk platform. You'll work with Python, Java and Scala on large datasets, partnering with traders and risk managers to deliver production-grade software.

You’ll contribute to AI-assisted development, CI/CD practices and scalable systems, while learning Azure and modern big data tooling in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python at scale and testing frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JVM languages (e.g., Java, Scala).
• Experience with Spark or large-scale data processing.
• Understanding of financial derivatives risk and pricing.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development and GitHub Copilot.
• Cloud exposure (Azure) and desire to learn more.
• Familiarity with web-based UI frameworks is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn Python for analytics tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deep experience coding in Python with scalable architectures.
• Work on JVM languages at scale within the analytics platform.
• Design and optimize Spark jobs for giant datasets.
• Understand front-to-back processes for derivative risks and pricing.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve velocity and quality.
• Engage with cloud-based systems, preferably Azure.
• Support UI-related tasks as needed and learn Python further.
