Job summary

Be | Shaping the Future Poland is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer on a fixed-term B2B contract to cover maternity leave until March 2027. The role focuses on incident, problem and change management, and supporting test and development teams.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor or master degree in CS-related fields, 4+ years in SRE or IT-support, and has knowledge of Linux, SQL, cloud platforms and networking tools. Willingness to work on-call is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or related area.
Minimum 4 years of experience in site reliability engineering or IT support.
Knowledge of Linux (basic scripting and commands), SQL, cloud platforms and networking tools (F5/HAProxy) is appreciated.
Knowledge of monitoring/observability stacks and logging practices.
Willingness to work on-call.

Responsibilities

Manage and resolve incidents, problems and changes.
Quickly determine impact in high level incidents, estimate resolution times and establish counter measures.
Initiate improvement plans and prevention of problems.
Support test and development teams.
Produce quality improvement plans, business continuity plans, operating instructions.
