Job summary

Mondi Group is seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead the Mszczonów corrugated packaging site. You will own strategic, commercial and operational performance across manufacturing, engineering, quality, logistics, finance and safety, delivering safety, quality, service, productivity and profitability.

Qualifications

• Extensive Managing Director/General Management experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
• Strong track record with P&L, budgeting, cost management and capital investment responsibility.
• Experience leading large, diverse teams in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and lean principles (Lean/Six Sigma).
• Commercial mindset with customer orientation and growth focus.
• Experience working with employee representatives (Works Councils or similar).
• Excellent financial/analytical capability with data-driven decision making.
• Fluent Polish and English with stakeholder management in international matrix organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall site strategy and performance, driving sustainable growth and profitability.
• Own P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, capex and productivity improvements.
• Oversee safe, efficient, high-quality manufacturing operations across production, engineering, quality, logistics and service.
• Build and empower a high-performing leadership team with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies.
• Develop the site's commercial performance, strengthening customer relationships and profitable growth.
• Champion safety, sustainability and compliance across the site.
• Build strong relationships with customers, authorities, suppliers and Mondi wider organisation.
• Shape future capability with workforce and succession planning.
• Represent the site within Mondi and the local community, providing visible leadership.
