Job summary

Mondi Group in Poland is seeking a Process Engineer to improve packaging operations and drive efficiency. You will work on engineering tasks, define development projects, and collaborate with managers to align engineering with production goals.

You will manage improvement initiatives from concept to completion, deliver measurable business impact, and contribute to safety and quality standards. Polish and English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position; packaging industry is a plus
• Technical education completed within the last 2 years
• Proficient in MS Office
• Fluent in English and Polish for communication

Your Responsibilities

• Carrying out engineering and process-related tasks in accordance with the company's established procedures, quality, and safety standards (ensure adherence to packaging process requirements, maintaining consistent production quality and operational safety)
• Drive process optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives across the operation
• Define, plan, and implement process development and optimization projects
• Provide support and cooperate closely with department managers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between engineering initiatives and production goals
• Independently manage own improvement and innovation projects from concept to completion, ensuring measurable business impact and cost efficiency
• Prepare detailed reports, process documentation, and summaries for internal stakeholders and management

Your Profile

• Experience in a similar position (experience in the packaging industry is a plus)
• Technical education (completed within the last 2 years)
• Excellent command of MS Office
• Proficiency in English and in Polish enabling fluent communication (mandatory requirement)
• Highly developed analytical and mathematical skills
• Independence, responsibility, and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to work in a shift system
• Category B driving license
