Job summary

Frontex in Warsaw is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support platform development and maintenance. The role requires hands-on configuration of ITSM and related modules, and close collaboration with architects and administrators.

With a 48-month mission, the candidate should have at least 5 years in relevant roles, English at B2, and security clearance. The engagement includes 20% on-site and 80% remote work, with a flexible rate model discussed during interviews.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and maintaining ServiceNow platform (on-prem experience is a plus).
• Hands-on experience configuring ServiceNow (ITSM and other modules).
• Proven ability to design ServiceNow solutions for business needs.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow product portfolio and IT service management.

ServiceNow Developer (Warsaw, 80% remote) – Frontex

Profile: ServiceNow Developer (ServiceNow platform, development) - Level Standard.

Place of performance: On-site service provision at Frontex Headquarters. 20% on-site, 80% remote.

Duration of the mission: 48 months.

Security Clearance: Is required (required from day 45 of assignment) - CONFIDENTIAL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL.

Minimum level of education: Level 4.

Minimum English language skills: B2.

Minimum IT relevant experience: 5 years (2 years in relevant roles).

Award Criteria: 50% Price / 50% Quality.

Minimum required scoring for interview: 70%.

Rate: Flexible. The rate offered depends on the candidate’s level, in accordance with the European public grading system. Further details are available upon discussion.

NWH: 220 days x 4 years.

Typical Tasks And Responsibilities

ServiceNow platform development:

• Implementing new configurations and customizations of ServiceNow platform.


• Analysing and advising on requests for implementation of new functionalities of ServiceNow platform.

ServiceNow platform maintenance:

• Managing and maintaining ServiceNow instance, including all files and services on which the instance is built (binaries, configuration, key stores, tomcat, java, local backup, performance tuning etc.) ensuring functionality and security compliance.


• Maintaining ServiceNow up to date, upgrade and apply application patches.


• Ensuring proper ServiceNow integration with Frontex systems.


• Managing and maintaining MariaDB database files and services used by ServiceNow.


• Providing daily support for the ServiceNow platform implementing standard changes.


• Maintaining current configurations and customizations of ServiceNow platform.


• Analyse and resolve application related incidents and perform bug fixes.


• Maintaining up to date solution documentation including technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, knowledge base articles etc.

ServiceNow platform improvements:

• Providing recommendations to business requirements and contributing to technical designs.


• Supporting ServiceNow Architect and ServiceNow Administrator in designing solution architecture and administration.


• Supporting ServiceNow projects planning.


• Supporting other teams in risk management, disaster recovery, security management, etc.
