BELVEDERE in Krakow seeks a Senior Valuation Controller to oversee valuation processes for financial instruments within Global Markets. You will lead IPV, FVA, PVA and FVL initiatives, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls while engaging with Quantitative Analytics and Front Office.

The role emphasizes building efficient valuation frameworks, collaborating with IT, Market Risk, and Operations to support regulatory compliance and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance, economics, mathematics, physics, engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments and valuation techniques.
• Knowledge of market risk factors.
• Advanced Excel skills (VBA knowledge preferred).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with ambition and enthusiasm.
• Access and SQL knowledge (advantageous).
• CFA or FRM qualification, or in progress (advantageous).

Their Krakow office hosts a specialist Product Control team supporting Global Markets Business operations. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Valuation Controller to join their Product Control team in Krakow. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex valuation methodologies and regulatory frameworks whilst collaborating with stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.

Position Overview

As a Senior Valuation Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing valuation processes and controls for financial instruments across the Global Markets Business. You will lead the preparation of Independent Price Verification, Fair Value Adjustments, Prudent Valuation and Fair Value Levelling whilst implementing improved controls and methodologies. This position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders including Quantitative Analytics, Front Office, Market Risk Management and Operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Your work will directly contribute to delivering a unified view of P&L and Balance Sheet across the organisation.
