Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Warsaw seeks a Vice President to lead the Design & Execution team within the Valuation Control Group, driving process and technology change across the organisation.

The role collaborates with senior VCG managers to ensure global consistency and champions innovation in a fast-moving environment. Key responsibilities include delivering business requirements and UATs, partnering with Technology, and developing solutions for VCG automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master's degree required or equivalent.
  • Experience in Valuation Control or related finance domain.
  • Experience leading change across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver business requirements and user-acceptance testing for Valuation Control programmes.
  • Partner with Technology to deliver infrastructure tools aligned to Finance direction.
  • Develop knowledge of Citi's analytics and tech ecosystem to solve VCG automation needs.
  • Assess risks and issues and escalate as needed for timely resolution.
  • Manage stakeholders including regional/global VCG leads and other CSC leads.
  • Generate ideas to improve Valuation Control processes for efficiency.

Job description

Role/Team Overview:

We are seeking an outstanding candidate for a Vice President position working in the Design & Execution team within the Valuation Control Group which is part of Finance Controllers organization. This role is critical and influential in helping shape and drive process and technology change across the group.

The VCG Design & Execution team is primarily responsible for defining and implementing the Firm's vision of a best in class Valuation Control function.

The role also involves working with the Senior Valuation Control Managers across all regions ensuring global consistency. The role will assist with leading innovation across the group and therefore the successful candidate must possess resilience, tenacity and have a desire and passion to succeed in a fast moving, dynamic and forward looking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of business requirement and user-acceptance testing for Valuation Control programmes, in line with Citi documentation standards

  • Partnering with Technology to deliver the right infrastructure tools and solutions aligned to both the Valuation Control vision and best in class Finance direction

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the bank's analytics and technology ecosystem in order to provide strategic solutions to VCG's automation requirements.

  • Appropriately assessing risks and issues related to the projects and ensuring timely and effective escalation

  • Stakeholder management covering Regional Valuation Control leads, Global Valuation Control teams, other CSC leads

  • Creating ideas and insight of how the Valuation Control process can be improved, simplified and operate more effectively

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years Finance experience, ideally with broad Product Control and IPV experience

  • Proven ability and experience of leading change across a number of different teams / stakeholders

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal with a range of senior/junior staff across a number of disciplines

  • Highly motivated with advanced analytical & problem solving abilities

  • Experience in business analyst role for complex system implementation projects

  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle

Education:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree
