The Valuation Control Group (VCG) at Citi seeks a senior finance analyst to perform valuation control processes, including IPV and fair value levelling, while owning identified discrepancies and driving remediation with cross-functional teams.

You will contribute to policy development, strengthen controls, and engage with auditors and regulators. Leadership experience is desirable for broader responsibilities within the function.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, or closely related quantitative discipline.
• 5–10 years' professional experience in Finance (Valuations, Product Control, Risk, Financial Control, or similar).
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of resolving complex valuation issues.
• Strong understanding of current global accounting and regulatory developments related to valuation of financial instruments.
• In-depth knowledge of a broad range of financial instruments, market dynamics, and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong computer literacy with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in leading or mentoring teams is desirable for certain roles.

Mansioni

• Perform valuation control related core production: IPV, Valuation Adjustments, Fair Value Levelling.
• Own identified valuation discrepancies; investigate root causes and coordinate with teams for timely resolution.
• Develop, enhance, and document valuation control policies, procedures, and methodologies; design controls.
• Ensure timely remediation of regulatory matters, audit findings and reporting demands.
• Represent VCG in cross-functional initiatives and discussions with auditors or regulators.
• Contribute to strategic projects to strengthen valuation control framework and efficiency.
• People management may be required depending on level and scope.
