Job summary

Citi is seeking a Valuation Control Group Manager to oversee valuation control for the business, ensuring accurate inputs, robust reporting, and strong governance across global teams and partner functions.

You will develop methodologies for valuation adjustments and price testing, handle regulatory and audit remediation, lead cross-functional projects, and mentor teams. A senior professional with 10+ years in valuation or related risk roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in finance, economics, or quantitative field.
• 10+ years in valuation, risk, or product control.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and regulatory developments in valuation.
• Deep knowledge of financial instruments and valuation methodologies, incl. complex derivatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to resolve complex valuation issues independently.
• Strong communication skills to explain results to senior management.
• Proven ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.
• Experience in leading or coaching teams is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of valuation control for the business.
• Develop methodologies for valuation adjustments and price testing.
• Ensure timely remediation of regulatory matters and audit findings.
• Develop controls to ensure compliance with valuation policies.
• Act as first escalation point for price variance breaches.
• Lead global cross-functional projects and mentor teams.
• Partner with Business, Risk, Compliance, and Finance.
