Citi in Poland (Warsaw) invites an experienced Manager to join the Valuation Control Group and supervise valuation control for key portfolios. You will oversee data validation, reporting, and the development of robust valuation methodologies within a hands‑on team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, or quantitative field.
• 10+ years in valuation, risk, or product control.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and regulatory developments for financial instruments.
• In-depth knowledge of financial instruments and valuation methods, incl. derivatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Valuation control oversight across the business, including validation of market data inputs, reporting, and analysis.
• Develop and implement methodologies and procedures for valuation adjustments and price testing across the business.
• Ensure timely remediation of regulatory matters and audit findings related to valuation control.
• Develop appropriate control framework to ensure compliance with Policies and Standards.
• Escalate discrepancies and price variance breaches as first point of escalation.
• Identify pricing issues and valuation parameters requiring attention; perform thorough analysis.
• Lead global, cross-functional valuation control projects.
• Demonstrate leadership and partner with Business, Risk, Compliance, and Finance teams.
• Provide people management and development for teams; mentoring/coaching experience useful.
• Enhance and manage the VCG control and governance framework for the team.
