Job summary

Radley James is seeking an experienced UI/UX Workstream Lead for a major enterprise HCM transformation programme. You will own the user experience and accessibility workstream, serving as the programme's UX authority across employees, managers, candidates, recruiters and HR teams.

This senior role focuses on governance, coherent user experiences, and embedding UX considerations throughout the programme lifecycle rather than hands-on design.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience leading UX, Employee Experience (EX) or digital experience initiatives.
• Strong background in large-scale HR, HCM, ERP or digital transformation programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and governance skills.
• Deep understanding of accessibility standards and compliance.
• Experience balancing user, business, technology and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and influence programme-level decisions.
• Track record of improving adoption, reducing complexity and increasing end-user productivity through user-centred design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UI/UX workstream across a large-scale HCM transformation.
• Establish and maintain UX and experience governance.
• Own accessibility and compliance considerations, including audit readiness.
• Oversee end-to-end employee and manager journeys.
• Identify and mitigate UX, accessibility and adoption risks.
• Challenge design decisions where necessary and ensure consistency across the platform.
• Manage stakeholder expectations around platform capabilities and limitations.
• Collaborate across HR, technology, business, change and implementation teams.
• Coordinate with specialist UX and accessibility SMEs.
• Ensure UX requirements are incorporated into design, testing, change, communications and deployment.
• Help shape a scalable long-term employee experience strategy.
