Job summary

Radley James is seeking a senior UI/UX Workstream Lead to own the UX workstream within a large-scale HCM transformation programme. The role ensures a consistent, accessible and user-friendly experience for employees, managers, candidates, recruiters and HR teams.

You will act as the programme's independent UX and accessibility authority, providing governance across multiple workstreams and ensuring user experience is considered through design, configuration, testing and deployment.

We are looking for a UI/UX Workstream Lead to take ownership of the user experience workstream within a large-scale HCM transformation programme.

This is a senior role focused on ensuring the new HCM platform delivers a consistent, accessible, intuitive and user-friendly experience across employees, managers, candidates, recruiters and HR teams.

You will act as the programme's independent UX and accessibility authority, providing governance across multiple workstreams and ensuring that user experience is considered throughout design, configuration, testing, change management and deployment.

What you’ll do

• Lead the UI/UX workstream and drive agreed outcomes across the programme.
• Establish and maintain UX and experience governance across the HCM implementation.
• Ensure accessibility and compliance requirements are embedded into the solution and properly evidenced.
• Oversee the quality and consistency of end-to-end employee and manager journeys.
• Work closely with HR, business, technology, change and implementation teams to embed user-centred thinking into programme decisions.
• Challenge design and delivery decisions where they may negatively impact usability, accessibility or the overall employee experience.
• Manage stakeholder expectations around what the HCM platform can and cannot deliver.
• Identify and mitigate UX, accessibility and adoption risks.
• Coordinate external UX and accessibility specialists where required.
• Ensure the solution supports both current requirements and longer-term People/Employee Experience ambitions.

What we’re looking for

• Senior experience leading UX, Employee Experience, Digital Experience or transformation workstreams.
• Experience working on large-scale HR, HCM, ERP or digital transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management, governance and influencing skills.
• Solid understanding of accessibility standards, compliance and inclusive design.
