Job summary

Euronet in Warsaw is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join the Project Delivery Europe Team. You will design, configure, and integrate systems across payments projects in Europe and worldwide, ensuring on-time delivery, scope adherence, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with system configuration, QA, databases, Linux, and XML, and is fluent in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• Experience in system configuration and QA background.
• Experience in Financial/Fintech/Banking/EFT is a plus.
• Hands-on with databases (SQL, MSSQL, RDBMS or NoSQL).
• Good knowledge of Linux and XML.
• Fluent in English and Polish, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Analyst to define business needs, processes and system requirements.
• Translate functional specifications into solutions through integrations and setup.
• Provide work estimates and technical plans for configuration and QA work.
• Configure the system to meet requirements and document changes.
• Collaborate with Development for enhancements and bug fixes; train end users.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Support Business Analyst to define business needs, processes and system requirements
• Translate functional specification into solution through integrations and setup
• Provide work estimates and technical plan for configuration and QA work
• Configure the system to meet requirements
• Document all configuration work and support Change Management process
• Investigate for best solutions based on requirements and gap analysis
• Liaise with Development for any enhancement requests or bug fixing
• Perform handover and conduct training to end users

• Experience in system configuration as well as good QA background
• Experience in Financial/Fintech/Banking/EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) industry will be an advantage
• Hands on experience in any database (SQL, MSSQL, RDBMS or Non-Relation Databases)
