Job summary

Euronet is seeking a Senior System Engineer in Warsaw to join the Project Delivery Europe Team, delivering payment projects across Europe and worldwide. The role targets building best solutions for payments systems and ensuring on-time, within-scope delivery with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in system configuration and QA background.
• Familiar with Financial/Fintech/Banking sector is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with databases such as SQL (MSSQL) or other relational/non-relational options.
• Good knowledge of Linux and XML.
• Fluent English and Polish, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and time-management capabilities.
• Ability to work in nationally and geographically diverse teams.
• Ability to understand complex IT and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Analyst to define business needs and system requirements.
• Translate functional specs into solutions through integrations and setup.
• Provide estimates and technical plans for configuration and QA work.
• Configure the system to meet requirements.
• Document configuration work and support Change Management processes.
• Investigate best solutions based on requirements and gap analysis.
• Coordinate with Development for enhancements and bug fixes.
• Perform handover and training to end users.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Experience in system configuration as well as good QA background
• Experience in Financial/Fintech/Banking/EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) industry will be an advantage
• Hands on experience in any database (SQL, MSSQL, RDBMS or Non-Relation Databases)
• Good knowledge of Linux and XML
• Excellent computer skills and easy adoption of new software and technologies
• Fluent English and Polish, written and spoken
• Analytical and time management skills
