Job summary

Polcode Sp. z o.o., a Poland-based software house, is seeking a strong Mid/Senior Symfony Developer for a long-term project with an international partner.

You will work on a mature Symfony application with legacy code, gradually upgrading the stack and modernizing the platform. You will collaborate with an eight-person development team, participating in planning and daily stand-ups, and contributing to technical discussions.

Qualifications

Strong Mid/Senior-level PHP and Symfony experience.
Hands-on with older Symfony versions.
Experience upgrading Symfony apps to newer versions.
Comfort with mature/legacy codebases.
Ability to understand and pragmatically improve solutions.
Fluent English (C1/C2) for client collaboration.
Proactive, fully engaged team member attitude.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain an established Symfony application.
Work with legacy Symfony versions and upgrade paths.
Contribute to stack modernization and upgrades.
Analyze existing solutions and implement pragmatic improvements.
Collaborate with the client’s development team daily.
Participate in daily meetings and Agile planning.
Operate within GitLab/CI/CD environments.
